When should we start planning our wedding cake?
We suggest beginning the conversation once your wedding date and venue are confirmed.
Ideally, around six months in advance, to ensure availability and allow time for a thoughtful creative process.
What is the purpose of the reservation fee?
The reservation fee secures your date in our calendar and marks the beginning of the cake’s creative development.
Payment is required within 15 days of receiving the Service Proposal, during which time the date is held on a provisional basis.
After this period, availability can no longer be guaranteed.
What is the amount of the reservation fee?
It corresponds to 30% of the total Service Proposal value.
Is the reservation fee refundable?
No. This amount is non-refundable.
Can I confirm the booking after the tasting?
Yes. However, until payment is confirmed, the date cannot be guaranteed.
When is the final payment due?
The final payment must be completed no later than 30 days prior to the event date.
When is the service proposal sent?
After completing our questionnaire, we send a Service Proposal outlining all details, including the service description, estimated value, reservation fee, and terms & conditions.
When is the final quotation sent?
The final quotation and design are sent within 30 working days following payment of the reservation fee.
What if we do not like the proposed design?
You may send us your feedback by email.
Each project includes two complimentary revisions. Additional revisions are available at a cost of €30 each.
how can I make the payment?
Payments are made by bank transfer, with proof of payment sent by email.
Is it possible to have a tasting?
Yes. Tastings take place exclusively at our atelier and are priced at €60 per couple, with the option to select up to three flavours from the menu.
It is an experience designed to introduce you to the flavour and texture that define our wedding cakes.
Until when can I make changes to my order?
Minor adjustments may be requested up to 30 days prior to the event, subject to our team’s assessment to ensure feasibility.
Can I cancel my order?
In the event of cancellation more than 30 days in advance, payments made will be refunded, with the exception of the reservation fee.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the event date are non-refundable.
The reservation fee is always non-refundable.
Is cake delivery included?
Our service includes delivery and on-site assembly, carried out by our team.
As the cake is a delicate piece, delivery is always carried out in person to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
The delivery fee is specified in the Service Proposal and in the final quotation.
Do you provide cake stands or plates?
No. However, we are happy to recommend suppliers or partner venues that can provide suitable stands for your cake.
Do you create cakes for special dietary requirements?
To ensure quality and food safety, we do not produce gluten-free, lactose-free, or vegan cakes, due to the risk of cross-contamination.
Can I share images from other cake designers as inspiration?
Yes. References are always welcome — however, we do not replicate the work of other professionals.
Inspirations are used as a starting point to create something authentic, exclusive, and entirely bespoke, reflecting your essence and the Mon Sucré aesthetic.
